Every year, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition never ceases to amaze and astound, showcasing the wonders of the natural world. Bringing together the best images of plants, animals, and landscapes taken by some of the most talented nature photographers around the planet, it delivers a veritable smorgasbord of sublime pictures.
The Natural History Museum even lets the public have their say in the competition, by voting for the winner of the People’s Choice Award. Anyone can visit the website here, and choose their favorite from 24 beautiful images selected by the museum from a pretty incredible 50,000 entries that were submitted this year. Voting is now open, and will close at 12pm GMT (7am ET) on Monday, February 5, 2018.
Whichever picture impresses the public the most will then go on display at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition currently being held at the Natural History Museum, alongside all the other stunning images that have already been crowned runners-up and winners. The exhibition is running until May 28, so if you want to have a peek at the other entrants to the longest-running and most prestigious wildlife photography competition around, then you better get your skates on.
