Vaccinations are unfortunately a touchy subject with many people. Some will risk illness and even death by taking a stand against vaccinations, and it goes without saying that it's a risky stance to take. Some people are afraid of needles, and that could even be enough to deter them from vaccinating themselves and their families. This new piece of medical technology aims to address that, in the hope of immunizing more people. Scientists hope the patch, which can be used by individuals and contains painless microneedles, will be much more appealing to people who struggle with the idea of regular injections.
