Hedgehogs are some of the most adorable animals on the planet. Something about being pokey and therefore somewhat forbidden makes them even more cuddly, because it kind of seems like they need it.

Seriously, it’s even adorable when they snore. They make sounds that sort of sound like he or she is whimpering or crying, but it’s all perfectly normal. For hedgies that are overweight, snoring can indicate breathing problems, so make sure to ask your vet if that is something you should be concerned about.

Many hedgehog owners report that they often see their hedgies act out while they sleep, sort of like a dog who appears to be dreaming about chasing something. What DO hedgehogs dream about anyway?

The star of this video is Puti, an albino hedgehog. If this won’t cheer up your Thursday and help you get through the week, I’m not sure what will.
