Giant Crocodile Caught In Sri Lanka

A monster crocodile measuring 17-feet long [518cm] was caught by locals in Akuressa, Sri Lanka, on Tuesday and later brought to the wildlife conservation department. The reptile was reportedly found on a tea estate where a joint rescue operation between wildlife officials and villagers lasted around two hours.
Recent floods in the area are thought to be behind the crocodile's presence on land.
