World First - Baby Polar Bears Caught On Camera Opening Their Eyes For The First Time

Twin baby polar bears were recently captured on camera opening their eyes for the very first time. According to the Hellabrunn Zoo, their home in Munich, Germany, capturing this event on camera is a "world first".

Just five weeks old, these infants are the first polar bears to be born at the Hellabrunn Zoo since 1993. Polar bears typically require care from their mothers for the first 28 months of life, so they'll be under their mothers gaze for quite some time yet.
