Twin baby polar bears were recently captured on camera opening their eyes for the very first time. According to the Hellabrunn Zoo, their home in Munich, Germany, capturing this event on camera is a "world first".

Polar bears typically require care from their mothers for the first 28 months of life, so they'll be under their mothers gaze for quite some time yet.
