There’s a rather awesome post on Reddit at the moment, showing what appears to be a frog swallowing a snake. Yum!
The amazing photo is titled “One Last Scream Into the Abysssss”, and shows a snake crying out inside a frog.
Posted on the WTF subreddit (we’re sure you can work out that acronym yourself), the picture is actually quite old, notes National Geographic. It shows a species of Australian green tree frog, Litoria caerulea.
These animals have been known to eat things like mice and frogs, but it’s not clear if they regularly eat snakes.
It’s also not clear who took the original image, so if you did, please get in touch. And congratulations – it’s a rather amazing photograph.
