Youtuber Colin Furze is back again with another madcap invention and a lack of self-preservation. This time around, it’s a DIY take on X-Men’s “Iceman”, although it’s plain to see the influence of the now iconic Arnie rendition of Dr Freeze, too.

Colin created the palm-mounted ice blasters, which are able to freeze anything with a blistering spray of -196ºC (-321ºF) liquid nitrogen. He inflicts his new weapon on a bunch of flowers, which quickly turns into a brittle, ice-cold popsicle, and even manages to rustle up a desert with it. You can check out a video of Colin making the ice blaster in his garage, along with the numerous issues in making the device, right here.

This isn’t the first X-Men character's power Colin has created using the power of science, he’s also done experiments that take on Magneto, Pyro, and Wolverine.
