This Dying Chimpanzee Getting A Final Visit From An Old Friend Will Melt Your Heart

Mama the chimpanzee was 59 years old when she became terminally ill. Days before she passed away she was visited by professor Jan van Hooff, who had helped set up Mama's colony at the Royal Burgers Zoo in Amsterdam in 1972. Since then, he had spent a lot of time with Mama and paid her many visits.
