Not content with just being the most visited porn website in the world, Pornhub regularly delves into the very serious matter of statistical analysis… kind of.
Their Pornhub Insights page regulary posts graphs, infographics and statistics behind their visitor’s search habits, giving us a surprisingly fascinating insight into the most private of behavioural habits and the cultural psyche of our time. Yep, unfortunately that does mean Pornhub’s got access to your search history on their site.
This set of data, in collaboration with Metro UK, shows the top 10 search terms from both their global and UK audiences.

Among the most popular global search terms, “milf,” “teen” and “lesbian” consistently stay towards the top 7 searches. From 2009 to 2012, searches for “asian” rose up the ranks, although after 2012 it dropped off the top 10.
Interestingly, as Pornhub pointed out, “terms oriented around male pleasure like ‘creampie’ and ‘blowjob’ have also dropped off the list completely whereas ‘squirt,’ which has to do with female orgasm, has remained solid on the lists for the last three years. Get it girls!”

As for the Brits, they seem equally obsessed with the rest of the world searching for “lesbians” and “milfs,” although they tended to search less for “teen” compared to the global statistics. You’ll be pleased to hear the Oedipus complex is still alive and well in British bedrooms, with searches of “milf” staying consistently high and “step mom” breaking into the top 10 in 2014. Britain must also be amongst the most patriotic of porn users, clearly showing a rise in for searches for "British" over the past six years.
