This surprisingly cheery-looking lemon shark was snapped off the coast of Juniper, Florida by 58-year-old Kenneth "Wayne" MacWilliams.

While there has never been a fatality from a lemon shark (Negaprion brevirostris) attack, they’re not quite as friendly as Bruce, as shown by the small handful of 10 unprovoked attacks on record. One certain difference they have to Bruce: they’re not vegetarians. Their diet consists of any fish or crustaceans they can get their jaws around in their native shores of Brazil, the Gulf of Mexico and the west coast of Africa.

MacWilliams, who took to photograph, told Caters News “ “Since it appears as the shark is smiling, it made me smile.”

He added, “I don't think lemon sharks assimilate divers with food. You may or may not change your feelings but at least you can form your own opinion based on your own personal experience. Happy diving.”

Say “cheese!”
