A live baby snake was found in a supposedly sealed bottle of mineral water, and served to none other than the Indian minister of health, JP Nadda, and Dr Raman Singh, the chief minister of Chhattisgarh state, where the government event was being held.

How the snake got into the sealed bottle is unknown (although the water company owner has labeled it a conspiracy), but the baby snake, not thought to be of an aquatic species, is believed to have survived its ordeal.
