From cancer research to showing you what Ned Flanders would look like in real life, it just can't be beaten. Artist Hidreley Diao, who contributes to Bored Panda, has recently shown off his renderings of cartoon characters as real-life humans. The artist began using his Instagram page to show renderings of various historical figures as if photography was available.

In the recent weeks, they turned to characters from Disney, The Simpsons, and elsewhere, in what is mainly a cool look at the characters, and just occasionally pure nightmare fuel.

Below are some of our favorites, the rest can be checked out on his Instagram page.

Ned Flanders

-

Milhouse

-

Moe

-

Peter Pan

-

Eric from The Little Mermaid

-

Ariel, The Little Mermaid

-

Mr Up, from Up

-

The evil queen from Snow White

-

Mirabel Madrigal

-

Princess Tiana

-

As you can see, these are great. But some of them (looking at you, Ned Flanders) have no business not being cartoons.
