Beyond Clouds/Vimeo

During a late-night flight from Europe to South America, this pilot shot a mind-blowing time-lapse of the night sky showing the Milky Way in all its shining glory.

The short film was shot by Sales Wick, a 30-year old airline pilot and photographer based in Switzerland, straight from his cockpit. As he embarks on his long-haul journey, you also catch a glimpse of city lights, other planes, and the Atlantic Ocean skip by below him. Although, the main star of the show is our glorious galaxy, and damn, it looks good.

You can check out Sales' blog “Beyond Clouds” here.
