In between running SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk has somehow found time to enter the rave music scene, releasing his first electronic dance music (EDM) track entitled Don’t Doubt ur Vibe. Having written the lyrics and performed the vocals himself, Musk has now expanded his body of musical work to two songs, following the release of the downright bizarre RIP Harambe in March 2019.

His previous song – which paid tribute to Harambe the gorilla, who was shot dead at a zoo in Cincinnati in 2016 – featured vocals performed by Yung Jake, although this latest offering is nothing but Musk, with the tech entrepreneur relying only on his own talents to produce the track.

Released under the label Emo G Records, the song first appeared on Soundcloud on January 31, and is now also available on Spotify.

Over recent years, Musk’s various projects have resulted in an electric car being fired into space and a rocket being successfully landed in an upright position, while plans for the first commercial flight to the Moon are also progressing nicely. With all that under his belt, it’s hardly a surprise that the famously ambitious South African has put aside all doubts in his vibe, and after briefly changing his Twitter handle to E “D” M, Musk is clearly hoping to inspire others with his music.

Fans have taken to Twitter to voice their somewhat mixed reactions to the song, with many expressing their awe at how one man manages to excel at so many different things.

Not everyone is a fan of the new tune though, including this Twitter user who would rather listen to a song called Cheeseburger in Paradise.

You can’t please ‘em all.
