Elon Musk has come up with a lot of crazy ideas in his time, and then actually followed through with them a few months, or even years, later.

He tweeted that he was creating a flamethrower, and then boom, he creates the Tesla flamethrower. He announces he's going fire a car into space towards Mars. Boom, a few years down the line we have Starman, the most bizarre use of a rocket we've ever seen.

The hyperloop he announced is also already being tested. He is one of those billionaires with crazy ideas who actually gets stuff done.

So when he announces a new crazy plan, we're not that keen on dismissing it as just a wild idea that'll never come to fruition. Which makes his latest tweet pretty freaking exciting.

Yes, Elon Musk is working on building a cyborg dragon by the way.

We know what you're thinking:

And Elon agrees.

Now, technically a cyborg contains both organic and mechanic body parts, so in order for it to be a "cyborg dragon," it would have to involve some sort of organic component to it, which several people have noticed.

We're guessing that this won't be the case, given that cyborg technology isn't yet at the stage where we're making human-robot hybrids, so there probably won't be a full-blown dragon robot with the mind of Elon Musk running around.

Nevertheless, it could have some sort of human brain interface, if he really is creating a "cyborg" as he claims. Last year Musk began a company called Neuralink, with the goal of improving the human mind. The company is creating a "neural lace" they claim will make human beings "achieve symbiosis with machines".

The device aims to be a computer interface woven into the human brain, which could be used to make the human mind directly communicate with the Internet or with others wearing the same device.

So to speculate wildly, the badass robot dragon he's creating could utilize this interface, in order for him to be able to call it a "cyborg". Alternatively, he's kidding (booo) or he just mistweeted and he's really just making a normal, run of the mill, robot dragon.

We won't know until he emerges from his factory riding it like Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones.
