A Ukrainian company that supplies parts for electric vehicle charging stations in Russia has been accused of using their access in order to display messages such as "Slava Ukraini" (Glory to Ukraine) and "Putin is a dickhead".

"The provider was given by the LLC 'Gzhelprom' (Russia). It was later discovered that the main components (incl. A. the controller) are actually produced by the company Autoenterprise (Ukraine), and the Russian supplier produced an open assembly."
"The manufacturer left a 'bookmark' in the controller, which gave him the opportunity to have hidden internet access."
Following the invasion of Ukraine, there have been videos of the charging stations including “GLORY TO UKRAINE / GLORY TO THE HEROES / PUTIN IS A DICKHEAD / DEATH TO THE ENEMY," according to Vice.
The move is far from the only hack being attempted on Russia. The hacking group Anonymous have claimed credit for changing the maritime tracking data of Putin's yacht to read "FCKPTN", an abbreviation of "Putin" and the word "fuck".
