It’s pretty obvious how "Thor" Björnsson got the role of the character The Mountain in "Game of Thrones" – just look at the guy.

But when you weigh 180 kilograms (395 pounds) and measure 2.06 meters (6 foot 9 inches) tall, you need a lot of energy to maintain your body mass. Even more so if you’re doing weight training every day for 2016's World's Strongest Man competition and want to bulk up.

The Icelandic professional strongman and actor recently revealed his daily diet on his Instagram and it’s even more crazy than you’d imagine. Along with eating copious amounts of protein from meat, eggs, and nuts, his diet also includes a stream of vegetables and carbohydrates every couple of hours. He even has to wake up in the middle of the night to get a 50 gram (1.7 ounce) dose of protein.
