In an odd turn of events, it’s not unusual for the average couple to cozy up on the sofa together after a long workday and unwind by watching a horrific story about a serial killer. Whatever floats your boat. In the spirit of this, IFLScience are pleased to announce a new series called True Crime in Science

Here, we will break down some well-known true crime stories, as well as some cases you may not have heard of, digging deeper into the science and forensic details behind them. Our first series features six episodes and will premiere on November 27, with new episodes released every Wednesday.

If you’re fascinated by true crime and want to learn more about how forensic scientists have solved some of the hardest cases, then look no further.
