Whether you agree with it or not, around 46 million abortions are performed every year worldwide. It's one of the most debated ethical issues in the world, including whether a woman's decision about her body should even be up for discussion by anyone else other than herself. However, very few people understand what is actually involved in an abortion. Methods range from taking a pill to surgery, depending on how far you are into a pregnancy.
