Trump Tweeted That He Spoke To The “Prince Of Whales” And The Internet Lost Its Mind

President Trump, in his own words, has met the Prince of the underwater world. Truly a feat, if he has indeed met such an eminent whale.

His tweet, which has now been taken down, said: “I meet and talk to ‘foreign governments’ every day," the president tweeted. "I just met with the Queen of England (U.K.), the Prince of Whales, the P.M. of the United Kingdom, the P.M. of Ireland, the President of France and the President of Poland. We talked about ‘Everything!’”

Of course, President Trump meant to refer to the Prince of Wales, but the spelling error referring to a cetacean has made the Twitter sphere go wild.

We’re not sure if he was referring to the Prince of Narwhals, Belugas, Humpbacks, or just all whales in general. However, his typo followed a tweet in which he made fun of a reporter for spelling “if” instead of “is”.

Here’s a selection of social media users who had a thing or two to say about the blunder. There were some puns:

Some images of the Whale Prince himself:
