The astronauts-- NASA’s Reid Wiseman and the ESA’s Alexander Gerst-- are venturing outside the satellite in order to move a broken cooling system pump to a new spot, and are also hoping to install a new relay system that will provide backup power to a robotic arm. The Extra Vehicular Activity, or spacewalk, is expected to take some 6.5 hours. Next Wednesday, October 15, Wiseman will leave the ISS once again, this time joined with NASA’s Barry Wilmore, in order to replace some electronics.
