For The First Time Ever A Spacecraft Has “Touched The Sun”

NASA has confirmed that the Parker Solar Probe, already the fastest human-made object in the universe, is also the first spacecraft to “touch the Sun”. The Sun has no definite boundary, but the corona is referred to as the Sun’s atmosphere. Parker is the first human-made instrument to whizz through the Sun’s corona, just 13 million kilometers from the Sun’s surface, not just surviving but thriving and sending back incredible data and images.

First Millipede Found With Over 1,000 Legs Breaks Leggy World Record

A millipede in Australia has been discovered with over 1,000 legs, breaking the world record for the number of legs on an animal. Not only that, but it’s technically the first “true” millipede as the word comes from the Latin for “thousand legs” and the most previously found on a millipede was 750.
