The Royal Society of Biology's (RSB) Photography Competition has seen over 600 entries this year. Only two have been shortlisted in the Young Photographer of the Year award, whilst there are 11 finalists in the Photographer of the Year award.
The photographers that got involved had to stick to a theme, which was The Hidden World, giving them the chance to reveal some of nature's secrets. The amazing photos included shots taken around the world, from Indonesia to Madagascar. Images such as a Bombay bush frog in a transparent eggshell were captured, showing just how spectacular the photos in the competition can be.
The Annual Awards Ceremony will take place on October 12 at The Hatton, London, where the winners will be announced and awarded their cash prizes.
