Want to know where moose are allowed to have sex in Alaska? Or how about where you can apparently take your top off without fear of recrimination? If so, check out this latest website that claims to list the weirdest, strangest, and most bizarre sex laws in the world.

Peruse through laws from Colombia to China and from Maine to Mississippi, and see which you think is the most outlandish law or which ones you may have even broken. Below are a selection of some eccentric laws, both past and present.

France

“An 18th century French prostitute could be spared punishment if she were [sic] willing to join the opera.”

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

“It is illegal to have sex with a truck driver inside a toll booth.”

Georgetown, Guyana

“Getting caught while bathing in the nude is punishable with a coat of fresh paint. The bathers are then taken to the outskirts of Georgetown and left to fend for themselves.”

Oklahoma

“A state representative once proposed a bill requiring that a man explain the dangers of pregnancy and obtain a woman's written consent before the two could legally engage in sexual intercourse.”

China

“Women are prohibited from walking around a hotel room in the nude. A woman may be naked only while in the bathroom.”

Ottumwa, Iowa

“It is unlawful for any male person, within the corporate limits of the (city), to wink at any female person with whom he is unacquainted.”

There are plenty of old and downright bizarre laws that once used to be enshrined but have now become obsolete. As newer laws are brought in, many of the above likely don’t apply anymore, even if they still haven’t been formally removed from the books. Therefore, I probably wouldn’t go offering a taxi driver sexual favors in Maine in the hope that he’ll waive your cab fare.
