Hilarious Responses To Nobel Prize Winner Tim Hunt's Sexist Comments

Nobel Prize winner Sir Tim Hunt made headlines this week for his passionate assertions about “girls” in the lab. Persistently doomed by fatal attraction to and from his colleagues, Hunt explained to BBC Radio 4 that although he was “really sorry” for causing offense, he meant every word, as these constant flirtations are “very disruptive to the science.”

In response to the backlash at his ridiculous comments, Hunt has resigned from his post as honorary professor at University College London’s Faculty of Life Sciences.

Unimpressed by his sexist comments, scientists snapped photos of themselves in their places of science, tech, engineering and math, and posted them on Twitter using the hashtag #distractinglysexy to show exactly how ludicrous Hunt’s claims are.
