A video has gone viral over the last week of a kind gentleman releasing an adorable squirrel into the wild. Which sounds extremely cute, until you get to the horrible "nature is brutal" twist ending, which unfortunately anybody could see from a mile off.

Gently, and reluctantly, he puts his friend onto the tree and it begins its climb. Which is where things take a rather unfortunate turn for the squirrel and squirrel fans.
Be warned, this video is a tad distressing, so brace yourself. Nature is cruel.
