Fastest Known Organism Is A Fungus - Check It Out In Slow Motion

We all know that poo can harbor some pretty funky microorganisms, but one you may not have heard of is the fungal genus Pilobolus, that's often found on herbivore excrement. These fungi shoot out their spores at speeds of up to 25 meters per second. While that might not sound hugely impressive, their acceleration is incredible as they can reach top speed in two millionths of a second.
