When operating a motor vehicle, a driver needs to be cognizant of other motorists, the car’s mechanical needs, and potential hazards on the road, such as elephants searching for a comfortable place to sit. Seriously.

Please sign in or subscribe to access the full content.The Mass Communication Organization of Thailand (MCOT) just released this video, showing an 8-year-old elephant crushing a car in Thailand’s Khao Yai National Park on Saturday. This event was filmed by the passenger inside the car as well as an outside perspective from another vehicle. After stepping up onto the hood, the elephant decides to move on. As he gets up to move, the windshield is crushed beneath the elephant’s feet.
It is believed that this unusual behavior was prompted by the fact that it is mating season, causing males to act more aggressive than normal. Nobody in the vehicle was harmed, but there’s no word on whether the driver’s roadside service covers Pachyderm Pulverization.
